Checking Clinic

This clinic will show and train players how to deliver and receive body checks. Chicago Hawks Hockey Director, Steve Poapst and the Chicago Hawks Coaching Staff will teach players the importance of what "body checking" means by teaching the concepts of puck separation and competing for space on the ice. 

During the clinic, coaches will teach what a player needs to keep themselves and others safe by effectively competing for space through correct body contact approaches and techniques.

This clinic is strongly recommended for all players entering the checking level.
