Welcome to the Darien Sportsplex Summer 3v3 Hockey League, the best place to play and have fun this spring and summer for all Mite, Squirts, Peewees & Bantams+!

The game creates a much faster paced game and gives the players more opportunities with the puck. Decisions must be made quickly, forcing the athlete to think and react at an accelerated pace. Goalies are not exempt from the increased speed of the game; they may see 50 to 70 shots a game. 3v3 is a fun way for the athletes to explore and improve their game all on their own!

All players must be of similar age and will skate in the age group of the oldest rostered player. The league directors have the right to move players up or down in age group to make the league and team more competitive. We anticipate a large number of players wanting to participate, so register early.

The league will run from Monday, June 10th through Thursday, August 8th. Games are Monday through Thursday only. Teams will be assigned to Mondays & Wednesdays OR Tuesdays & Thursdays and will have 2 games per night (back to back 25-minute half-ice games). Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday game start times will range from 5:30-10:00 p.m. with the younger age divisions starting earlier in the evening.

New in 2024, all park district hockey programs will now be using Chicago Hawks white and blue reversible practice jerseys. If you already have one, you do not need to purchase one. Only players who do not own the reversible white and blue practice jersey will need to purchase one. If you register as a team and would like to wear your own jerseys you are more then welcome to do so. They cannot be blue or white and if there is a color conflict with another team it is up to the teams to coordinate and figure out a solution.

All players must have a completed Park District Hockey Waiver & Release form. Please have a parent/guardian download and complete the form below and bring it to the 1st night of the season.

Teams Registrations are required to have a minimum of 8 players (7 skaters + 1 goalie) and a maximum of 14 players. Team Managers are required to download the Document below and supply each rostered player's name, birthdate, phone, email and Current USA Hockey number. Please submit this roster to Coach Climo (climo@comcast.net) prior to June 5.

In addition, all players must have a completed Park District Hockey Waiver & Release form. Please have a parent/guardian for each player on your team complete the below waiver and bring it to the 1st night of the season.
